The production processes of common seamless steel pipes can be divided into cold rolling and hot rolling. In terms of appearance, cold-rolled seamless steel pipes are shorter than hot-rolled ones, and the wall thickness of cold-rolled seamless steel pipes is generally smaller than that of hot-rolled ones. However, on the surface, it appears brighter than thick-walled seamless steel pipes. The surface is not too rough and the diameter has not too many burrs.
The maximum nominal diameter of cold-rolled pipes is 200mm, and that of hot-rolled pipes is 600mm.
